Paul Glover - Drummer
Paul Glover is a drummer and percussionist with over 30 years of professional experience performing and touring across the UK, Europe, and the US. Over his career he has recorded and toured with a wide range of artists including Pure Reason Revolution (Song/BMG), Scroobius Pip (Speech Development Records), Lisa Knapp, Marisa & the Moths, B. Dolan (Strange Famous Records), Izo FitzRoy (Jalapeno Records), and Rich Meehan Trio, with appearances at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Bestival, and Secret Garden Party, alongside national radio and television performances.
Now working as an independent drummer, artist, and session player, Paul drums for The Lily Beck Band and leads his own projects: The Twilight Showband, Twilight DJ Live, and most recently the Mulberry Earls Mini Big Band. Equally at home behind the kit or front-of-stage on percussion, he brings precision, energy, and showmanship to every performance, whether in the studio, on stage alongside a DJ, or as part of a full live ensemble. A graduate of the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Paul went on to study for many years with drumming legend Bob Armstrong, and brings two decades of teaching experience to his musicianship.

Working both out of his own studio and in established recording facilities, Paul has found himself in demand for various creative endeavours, commercial or otherwise. This has seen him recording drum tracks for a variety of artists, producers, adverts, and library projects.

Paul is a seasoned workshop facilitator with over a decade of experience.
Paul regularly leads diverse groups of varying numbers for various companies, organisations and charities. He is able to direct groups both large and small ensuring participants benefit from engaging with the activity and enjoy the process of learning. Paul has extensive experience in delivering African, samba, and freestyle percussion workshops to a wide variety of groups, including; nursery, primary, secondary, college, university, elderly community, care homes, homeless, at risk , special needs/disabled groups of both young and adult, including mobility impaired.

The Lily Beck Band
Paul plays drums for the Lily Beck Band, the live band behind UK singer-songwriter Lily Beck. Rooted in soul and emotional honesty, her sound blends soul and country with electronic textures and flashes of funk, and Paul brings the groove, warmth and drive that carries it on stage. Lily's music has been featured on BBC Introducing, Love Island and MTV, and Paul also features on her track 'Super Magic'.

Educator
Paul many years experience of playing and studying drums, as well as over 20 years teaching in widespread and varied situations, with a great diversity of people. A true musician, Paul is committed to constant improvement, practicing daily. Paul studied for many years under the watchful eye of drumming legend Bob Armstrong; one of the UK’s leading drum tutors.
Please note: After 21 years of teaching Paul is currently focusing on his playing career and isn’t taking on any students.
