PAULGLOVERDRUMMER

Paul's reputation as a solid, versatile and hard working drummer has brought him huge success, including international tours, major festival appearances and national radio and television appearances.

SCROOBIUS PIP

After a very successful sold out tour of the UK & Ireland, and with international tours and festival appearances already in the diary for 2012, Paul and Scroobius Pip are excited about their busy year again.

Scroobius Pip is a leading light and unmistakable face of the UK's spoken word scene. Amid a roll call of collaborators from the worlds of Rock and leftfield hip-hop, Scroobius Pip’s solo album ‘Distraction Pieces’ went straight into the UK official album chart at no.35.
With work on the new dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip album set to begin in the new year, Pip – with producers Yilla and Worgie - has drafted in collaborations from Renholder (aka Danny Lohner NIN / A Perfect Circle), Richard Russell (XL), Steve Mason, Sage Francis, P.O.S., Zane Lowe, B Dolan and Aupheus, for a solo record that represents a collision of Punk, Rock and Hip Hop

PURE REASON

REVOLUTION

Since 2006 Paul has been a member of UK based band Pure Reason Revolution. Sadly they announced their split in the summer of 2011. They completed a short farewell tour in November of this year.

Pure Reason Revolution are proof a band can be influenced by ELO, Smashing Pumpkins, Soulwax, Depeche Mode and The Beach Boys all at once, yet make sense of a vision that brings those disparate voices together into a sound that combines electronic dance rhythms, pop hooks and sublime vocal harmonies with huge rock riffs.

Alan McGee released their first single on Poptones, Sony/ BMG released a mini album and debut album. In 2009 they released their second longplayer ‘Amor Vincit Omnia’ on Superball Music.

Over the years PRR have ‘stuck to their guns’ and built a formidable live reputation sharing stages with the likes of Mew, Porcupine Tree, Secret Machines and Editors. Since November 2006 the band line-up has remained unchanged.

In March-April 2009 their 30-date headline tour covered twelve European countries and during the second half of 2009 they appeared at European festivals alongside Prodigy and Placebo before starting to record again.

Their third album ‘Hammer and Anvil’ was released in Europe and the US in Oct 2010 through Superball Music/Cenutry Media.
